The Rapid Fire Cliché Maker features:
- a 10 Watt C02 laser with
- a 12” x 16” (406x304mm) internal work area.
It comes standard with a dedicated PC that is pre-loaded with all operational software needed to output images.
The overall dimensions of the tabletop laser is:
- 25x44x25 in (WxHxD) and
- weighs 85 to 92 pounds depending on optional accessories.
Its power requirements are 110-220V/5A and it has one 3” exhaust port which needs an outdoor outlet. The customer must furnish a 50-100 CFM external venting unit (specs available upon request.)
Film Systems for Etching Photopolymer Clichés
Fully self-contained, easy-to-use automatic photopolymer plate-making systems have been made to help the customer be independent in the process of pad printing. Simple and economic, these engravers allow the operator to prepare printing plates starting with exposing a positive film over the plate; washing then drying the plate; and then proceeding to the final exposure step to fully cure/harden the cliché for immediate use.
All the models have high efficiency vacuum pumps for the UV exposure drawer to securely hold the photopositive to the plate being exposed. The etching tanks are all constructed of stainless steel with thermostat to precisely control the temperature of the washing solution. All of the models have a drying drawer (the BR50sv and BR70sv also have UV lamps in the drying drawer to dry and perform the final exposure simultaneously).
Portable Film Systems for Exposing Clichés
These portable, easy-to-use exposure units are suitable for both large and small volume production. They are best suited for the immediate production of inexpensive clichés and provide the pad printer with complete autonomy by speeding up the time it takes to go from artwork to cliché-making to printing.
Both models are equipped with electronic timers to precisely measure the amount of exposure. They are also both equipped with high efficiency vacuum pumps to firmly hold the photopositive to the cliché while exposing. This provides for higher resolutions even of half toned images.
