Job Description
Pad Print Machinery of Vermont, a manufacturer and distributor
of industrial pad printing equipment and supplies, is seeking a proactive,
focused and technically oriented sales representative.
Job summary:
Responsible for maintaining active contact with current customers,prospecting
for potential new customers, generating sales leads, continuing follow
up activities, conducting regular sales calls and responding to inquiries
from assigned territory and as backup to other representatives.
Job Requirements
- Daily use of ACT! database to track sales activities and opportunities.
- Promptly prepare quotes, contracts and other written materials
related to prospecting, orders and sales.
- Perform online searches and research to expand prospect pool and
new customer base.
- Promote products and services through trade shows, customer visits
and sales presentations.
- Travel throughout assigned territory to call on current and prospective
customers.
- Submit weekly sales reports and prospecting forecasts, as well
as travel receipts
Required Abilities
- Strong communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Written and verbal negotiation skills including cost estimating/quoting.
- Readiness to use advanced computerized systems and applications.
- Ability to conceptualize and solve complex problems.
- Willingness to maintain accurate and complete records.
Education Requirements
BA or BS in Business or equivalent plus 1 - 3 years sales experience,
helpful but not required. Knowledge of pad print technology a plus.
